Itinerary - Blissful Maharashtra Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

When you arrive at Mumbai airport/railway station, you get an assisted transfer by our representative. You then check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you leave for sightseeing to some of the best locations of Mumbai like Marine Drive, an iconic roadside bustling with traffic, shops, and restaurants. You can also grab a coffee and relax on the cemented pathway, The Gateway of India, a famous building that is settled on the seashore now a landmark, and more. You can also go shopping nearby in Colaba Market, offering the best deals for shoppers. After the sightseeing, you will come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2: Mumbai - Alibaug

Post breakfast, you will leave Mumbai for Alibaug. The journey will be roughly two hours long. After reaching Alibaug, you will check in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, you will leave for sightseeing in Alibaug. Some of the best locations of Alibaug are Alibaug Beach, a clean beach with a flat stretch making up for a wonderful walk, Alibaug Fort, built by Shivaji the Great in 1680, and Siddeshwar Temple, located in the hillocks and requires a small trek to reach it. After sightseeing, you come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3: Alibaug - Ganpatipule

After breakfast, you leave for Ganpatipule from Alibaug. The journey will be roughly five and a half hours long. You then check in to the hotel in Ganpatipule and relax. In the evening, you leave for sightseeing in Ganpatipule. Ganpati Mandir is the most famous spot of the town; the temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Ganpatipule Beach lying on the Konkan coast offers serene and beautiful landscapes, ideal for lazy evenings. After sightseeing, you come back to the hotel room and stay overnight.

Day 4: Ganpatipule - Lonavala

In the morning, after breakfast, you leave for Lonavala from Ganpatipule. The journey will be around six hours long. Upon reaching Lonavala, you check into your hotel room and relax. In the evening, you leave for sightseeing. Lonavala is a bustling town with attractive panoramas filled with hillocks. Some of the main reasons people visit Lonavala are Karla and Bhaja caves, which are amongst the best caves of Maharashtra adorned with Buddhist rock-cut shrines. You must buy chikki (sweet) from Lonavala, for what the town is famous for. After visiting sites of your choice, you come back to your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Lonavala - Mumbai Departure

On the last day of the trip, after breakfast, you will depart for Mumbai from Lonavala. This is almost a two-hour journey. Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey, concluding your memorable trip with UNIT 9 Travels.
