Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati

Arrive in Guwahati, the gateway to the North East, and transfer to your hotel. Relax after your journey and enjoy a brief tour of the city. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the holiest shrines in India, or take a peaceful boat ride on the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati to Shillong

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. On the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Khasi Hills. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and explore the local attractions such as the Ward's Lake, a man-made lake surrounded by lush gardens. You can also visit the local markets for handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Shillong. Visit the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures to learn about the indigenous tribes of North East India. Explore the local market, where you can shop for traditional Khasi handicrafts. Day 4: Shillong to Cherrapunji

In the morning, drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the famous Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest waterfall in India, and explore the Mawsmai Caves. Day 5: Cherrapunji to Shillong

Day 6: Shillong to Guwahati and Departure
