Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from Delhi
Start your journey early in the morning by boarding an overnight train or taking a flight from Delhi to Dehradun. Upon arrival, meet your guide and drive to Haridwar (about 35 km). Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, experiencing the spiritual ambiance. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar to Yamunotri
After breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti (approximately 210 km), the base for the trek to Yamunotri. From Janki Chatti, embark on a trek of about 6 km to Yamunotri, where you can visit the Yamunotri Temple and take a holy dip in the hot springs. After spending time in this serene setting, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to your accommodation for the night.
Day 3: Yamunotri to Uttarkashi
Post-breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi (about 200 km). The journey takes you through beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, visit the Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy a peaceful night in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri
After breakfast, drive to Gangotri (about 100 km). Upon arrival, visit the Gangotri Temple, one of the most revered shrines dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Take some time to soak in the beauty of the surroundings and the holy river. Return to Uttarkashi in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Kedarnath
Depart early for Gaurikund (about 220 km), the starting point for the Kedarnath trek. From Gaurikund, trek approximately 16 km to Kedarnath, enjoying stunning mountain views along the way. Upon arrival, visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the holiest shrines in India. Spend the night in Kedarnath, experiencing the divine atmosphere.
Day 6: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
After an early morning visit to the temple, trek back to Gaurikund. Upon reaching Gaurikund, drive to Guptkashi (about 30 km). Check into your hotel and relax after the trek. In the evening, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple and enjoy a restful night.
Day 7: Guptkashi to Badrinath
Post breakfast, drive to Badrinath (approximately 190 km). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. Visit the Badrinath Temple in the afternoon, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Participate in the evening Aarti ceremony and soak in the spiritual vibes. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 8: Badrinath Local Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring Badrinath and its surroundings. Visit Mana Village, the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border, and explore the Vyas Gufa (cave). Enjoy the beautiful views of the Neelkanth Peak and the Alaknanda River. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
After breakfast, check out and drive to Rudraprayag (about 160 km). En route, enjoy scenic views and visit the confluence of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the local area and relaxing. Overnight in Rudraprayag.
Day 10: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh
After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh (about 140 km). Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the day exploring this vibrant town known for its yoga and spirituality. Visit iconic sites like Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Participate in yoga sessions or relax by the Ganges. Attend the Ganga Aarti in the evening and enjoy a restful night.
Day 11: Rishikesh to Haridwar
